About
Born in Taiwan and a graduate of Waseda University in Tokyo, Amanda LO Ling Ning is an editor and designer of photo books, a manager of photography projects, artist manager, and Advisor of Zen Foto Gallery in Tokyo. She and Higashitaka Akira co-founded Nitesha; they are a married couple.

Overview
After 50 years, the legendary photo magazine PROVOKE has finally been reprinted and made available in Chinese and English. Published between 1968-69 the publication had become rare and underground.
The talk will discuss the challenges of making a reproduction as faithful to the original as possible, and the significance of reprinting this short-lived journal of photography, essays and poetry.
