On the occasion of the photo exhibition Apples for Sale: The Parallel Worlds and Queer Lives of Hong Kong’s Housemaids by Rebecca Sampson currently showing at the Goethe-Gallery and the Black Box Studio of the Goethe-Institut Hongkong, the Institut co-organises a panel discussion with the Hong Kong International Photo Festival on the topic of “Picturing the Lives of Others: The Power of Documentary Photography” on October 26, 2018 (Fri) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the Goethe-Gallery.

Panelists for the discussion are: Rebecca Sampson (Germany), Carol Chow (Hong Kong), Jessica Fan (Hong Kong) and Xyza Cruz Bacani (Philippines).
