Overview
A three-part photographic series of everyday glimpses, ‘Chai Wan Fire Station’ by CHAN Dick was published as a photobook by Tokyo-based Case Publishing, in conjunction with its showcase in exhibitions in Japan and Europe in 2017. A seminal work of Chan’s in recent years, the series was awarded 1st Place in the Book: Fine Art (Professional) category at the Tokyo International Foto Awards in 2016.
At this talk, Chan and Onishi will discuss their collaboration, offering insights for photographic practitioners in Hong Kong.
