Calling for Market Vendors

Date: 5-6 November 2022

Opening hours: Saturday 1100–2030; Sunday 1100–1800

Venue: Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre L1 central courtyard, 30 Pak Tin Street, Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon

The HKIPF 2022 Weekend Market will be held in the courtyard of the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre, Shek Kip Mei, alongside the Festival’s main exhibition. The event aims to bring visibility to a wide range of work while providing an opportunity for makers and vendors to sell and engage directly with the visitors and audiences of the Festival.

HKIPF encourages the exploration of photography and image making through a myriad of forms. Market Vendors are welcome to showcase and sell photobooks, zines and independent publications, prints, equipment, supplies, accessories and unique items. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about what items to sell.

Over the weekend, we will also be hosting a series of events with overseas partners and local makers. If you would like to propose any talks, discussions, workshops, book launches or signings, please let us know in your application.

If we receive more applications than the space permits, HKIPF will make selections based on the submitted proposals. We aim to showcase a diverse range of works from committed makers and businesses. Health and safety precautions will be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure a comfortable environment for everyone.
