Important Notice
- Only holders of a valid membership (Member) can subscribe to events and programmes held by Hong Kong Photographic Culture Association exclusively for membership or other privilege offers made exclusively to members.
- The annual membership fee for Standard Member and Professional’s Circle is Hong Kong Dollars One Hundred ($100) and Five Hundred ($500) respectively, and is non-refundable.
- The membership is non-transferable and non-assignable and shall be used by the member personally.
- Members are required to present their valid membership identification, in the form of email address, upon admission to exclusive events and programmes or upon subscription for privilege offers provided by Hong Kong Photographic Culture Association for members.
- The validity of membership ends on the thirty-first (31th) of every July.
- Email confirmation will be sent to your registered email address within three (3) working days.
- Approval of the membership, or the bookings for events or programmes, or subscriptions for privilege offers will be at the absolute discretion of Hong Kong Photographic Culture Association.
- Except as otherwise stipulated, all bookings for events or programmes or subscriptions for privilege offers shall be made available to members on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Hong Kong Photographic Culture Association reserves the right to amend the contents of this Important Notice or to suspend or terminate the privilege offers at the any time without any prior notice or refund without assigning any reason.
Personal Information Collection Statement (PICS)
Hong Kong Photographic Culture Association (the “Association”) will collect the personal data from various sources of data subject (person). We respect personal data and are committed to implementing and complying the data protection principles and the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
Purpose of Collection
All information provided in this application will be used by the Association for
- Processing the membership administration, such as application processing, membership fee payment, membership fee record;
- Providing communications, fundraising, educational, and membership materials regarding to the Association and Hong Kong International Photo Festival in the form of brochures, newsletters, etc.;
- Preparing statics or carrying out research;
- Comply with any statutory requirements or laws that bind the Association; and
- General administration.
Consequence of Not Providing Data
The supply of personal data is voluntarily except for those data specified in the data collection form as obligatory. Failure to supply such obligatory data will prevent us from processing the application for membership.
Transfer of Personal Data
The personal data collected will be disclosed to the following parties directly related to the above-mentioned data collection purposes:
- The Association and any of its staff;
- Any co-organiser, agent or other third party involved with the Association in organising exhibitions, public programmes, or related activities; and
- Any data processing agents, or service providers (whether within or outside Hong Kong SAR) who provide administrative, telecommunication, computer, or payment services to the Association and who have undertaken to keep all personal data confidential, or as required by law.
Access and Correction of Personal Data
You have the right of access to, and correction of, personal data kept and used by the Association in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. A reasonable fee may be charged for processing data access request.
