Overview
Chobi Mela International Festival of Photography, the first and largest photography biennale in Asia, is organised by Pathshala South Asian Media Institute in Dhaka, while the Jakarta International Photo Festival is led by the PannaFoto Institute. The two photography institutes are instrumental in the region, particularly in photojournalism, which has influenced their curation for the HKIPF.
The evening will see the two Photography Cinema curatorial partners present their respective selections; then, post-screening, curators and artists will participate in the discussion, online.
