Overview

At the entrance of the exhibition Unruly Visions you will encounter the statement “Queerness is that thing that lets us feel that this world is not enough, that indeed something is missing.”*

What indeed is missing in this world? How may the idea of queerness exist as a lodestar and inspire us to work for change? In this forum several representatives who have been working to advance the LGBTQ+ equality movement in different ways will share their thoughts on how we may continue carving out space and revive the queer political imagination in Hong Kong – in spite of – and because of the challenges facing the city at this time.
